Violin Rugeri, Francesco 1680.

Made by Francesco Rugeri in Cremona, around 1680.
Special features: the back of this lovely violin consists of two pieces of maple with flames of narrow-medium width descending from the centre joint. It’s varnish is of a light orange-brown colour on a golden ground. The violin Rugeri 1 is a very fine and characteristic example of the maker’s work.
Jumpstart Jr Foundation purchased the violin Rugeri (1) in 2008.

Jumpstart Jr Talent Dmitry Sinkovsky is the player of this wonderful instrument, and together they are extraordinairy! Dmitry is a well known performer on all the great international venues, from his hometown Moscow to Seattle and from Helsinki to Beijing. Recently, Dmitry picked up another instrument: his voice.
