Rebecca Raimondi is an Italian violinist, born in 1996. She is member of the newly formed baroque ensemble “La Tabatière” with which she develops the research and recording of unknown pieces and composers from the baroque and classical times. She is a founding member of Duo Ardorè(violin and piano) and the ensemble won first prize in the Nuovo Consonanza Festival in 2017. She is also devoted to contemporary music and has performed many solo recitals from composers such as Marco Quagliarini, Paolo Marchettini, Massimo Munari among others.
Past seasons has seen her as a soloist performing the Brahms Concerto, Mozart Concerto no. 4, and Bach Double Concerto with “I Solisti Aquilani”. On period instrument she performed in London Bach Brandenburg Concerto No.4, Vivaldi (The Four Seasons) with Rest Ensemble, and the Vivaldi Grosso Mogul concerto at the HfMDK and the Kundenzentrum. Rebecca has recorded extensively for Cremona Records with sonatas by Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms, a monographic CD of David Collins violin sonatas and violin solo pieces, and two Robin Holloway chamber music CDs for Sheva Contemporary.
She has recently completed a Master in baroque violin and historical performance studying with Petra Muellejans and Mechthild Karkow. In 2018, she completed a Fellowship at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Jacqueline Ross, where she also obtained the Master (CRD) with David Takeno. She studied baroque violin with Pavlo Beznosiuk . Presently she has a Lehrauftrag at the HfMDK.
